3 Clean sheets

The beginning of the season :)

Honestly we couldn't have wished for a better start for Mancini and we go into Wednesday's game with belief and confidence that we can do them !

I often wonder what went wrong for Hughes after a promising start to the season, it just started to fall apart (the defence that is)

it really did mate, we could still score but the defence in the end was an absolute shambles, unbelievably inept.
It cost him his job.

Start of the season under Hughes?

thats one for the record books then :)
Blackburn away, Wolves home and Portsmouth away.

Saying that, we look very much more solid under Mancini, even with the lack of Lescott, Toure and Bridge.

will Mancini really know how much weds means to us? who would of told him...Kidd?
and IF we get to wembley who gets the credit?...hughes or mancini?

Tell you what... is there a defender we've got who hasn't performed at a higher level than in Hughes's time? Zabba- great, Mica- getting there, Dedryck (sp?)- looked good, Spanish Gaz- excellent, Vinny- impeccable today.

Hopefully the start of a return to form for what was, at times, a pretty mean defence. If they can get that side of thing sorted, I'd be inclined to rely on Bellers, Tevez and co to get a few every game... and suddenly everything is looking really quite rosey.

He sold Richard Dunne..............Honest, I was as big a critic of Dunnie as anyone on here, but as soon as he went we couldnt hold onto a lead
