Modern day football makes me despair. Pathetic responses as well. Glad I didn't renew this season. Like marco said the fine for pissing in the street is less than the cost of a 3 game ban. Club is so wrapped up in punishing it's fans and sanitising the ground, when will common sense prevail?

Why are you glad you didn't renew this season? Just because someone has been punished for cheating?? Don't you want go to watch the team win trophies or are you more interested in finding things that the club do 'wrong'

Our money?

It's not, the money we pay on tickets goes into the clubs massive pool, basically what we pay is pennies and they wouldn't be any worse off if they didn't charge us anything this season. It's greedy behaviour by pretty much every club.

About 40 million worse off.

Well, I'm sure the club could survive with the extra £100m+ they will get out of this new TV deal as opposed to the last few years.

We still have to compete with all the other clubs who get the TV money and our tickets are very competitively priced but it seems whatever the club does, some people look to criticise. Blame Football and FFP not City for trying to make it fair to all supporters by making sure that some fans don't cheat

Why do the stewards enforce this? Cant they just turn a blind eye? If I was on minimum wage to do a boring job like that (and knowing the cost of football) I would just look the other way.
Seriously? You'd be happy for somebody to buy a concession seasoncard and use it every week whilst you had to pay full price?

Yeah why wouldnt I? Its not my money

Just out of interest, if you went to the pictures and being the honest person I imagine you are paid for two adult tickets that cost you £20 and then went and sat in your seat and 2 other blokes come in and sit near you, then you heard them talking about how they have just got in for £2 each because they cheated the place bought on-line and pretended to be kids, would that not piss you off?

No, I'd think fairplay. And if it bothered me that much I would do what they did the next time I went. The £16 means a lot more to the 2 blokes than Odeon or Vue

edit: In fact this reminds me. I remember Hull away last season loads of lads getting in on £8 tickets whilst I had paid full price. I wasnt pissed off, I just made sure I got a cheap ticket myself this year.
