Is he ok or injured? I think it was clear to see the drop off when Akanji came on. Fingers crossed he is fit and ready for the rest of the season.
 
I celebrated that tackle today like a goal. It’s the first time I’ve seen one of our players do anything like that in months.

You know Rico wouldn’t have been picked on as much and I’m pretty certain, put in the same situation as Akanji vs Rashford in the derby, we wouldn’t have had an offside debate.

I said at halftime I'd take him off for akanji given he was on a yellow and our defensive options are light to say the least. I'm almost certain this is what happened, think we would have heard by now if it was anything but that.

Pep said in a post match interview that he took him off because of his yellow card, as he didn't want him to get suspended and lose the Arsenal match. So it was purely tactical. i agree, clear drop off without him today. He has to start every game
