his ability to make those last second crucial interceptions and to block shots is second to none for sure. i also dont remember him being as good on the ball as he was this season and even in the air where he struggles a bit he was elevating above lukaku time and time again in the final.

The cherry on top being his natural leadership qualities of course. But now if Cancelo and Sillva leave we need to get him a portuguese buddy :( or brazilian at least

You forget how young he is - most CBs don’t peak until late 20s or even early 30s (Stonesy a good example). He is still improving - which is a fantastic thought.
