Sod all this new toy syndrome. We need Dias back, fit and ready to partner Stones again for the run in. We miss his leadership immensely, the team is screaming out for a leader on the pitch and Father Ruben is the man for that.
Wonder if the second goal would've happened if we had Dias's leadership today

We all know how bad the decision for the goal was, but the players shouldn't be losing our heads like that

I think we would look a lot more solid as a team with him back and fit, he seemed to keep us focussed. He also has the presence of not to be fucked with.

I could have imagined him leaving one on Rashford when it was apparent he was offside. Rarely misses a chance to leave one on someone does the Father.

In all due respect to Ake & Akanji they look like very nice, educated lads, but I wouldn’t take them into battle.

He has intangible qualities that we desperately miss when he's not out there.

I know hes been out if form, but we miss his presence there, someone on the pitch that has the defence organised.

We have a serious issue with leadership, and his absence is a major contributor.

He is also one half of the best partnership in Europe, which is also a tad debilitating to our form and progress.

Thankfully he is back in training.

He would have done on the first goal what I screamed at Akanji to do since everyone knew Rashford was offside: Gone through him

Cannot be bothered looking through line-ups but I doubt that him and Stones have played more than a handful of games together in the PL this season.

When Dias plays the LB tends to not get caught out of position and he seems to communicate well with the midfield. He cannot get back on the pitch soon enough.

People forget that we have played a lot of this season with our 4th and 5th choice centre backs. Yes, Ake and Akanji are good layers but they just don't bring as much to the table as either Dias or Stones. It makes a significant difference to our team.
