We're not happy flowers anymore with him in the team!

Love this guy...if some of you have caught the various City docs there's a piece on Ruben which showcases the man as one dedicated individual. If there's any part of the game or lifestyle choice which gains a competitive advantage he's willing to do it.

Don't think he's the finished article yet & at times needs to know when to be aggressive in a tackle & when not to & simply hold up the play to allow others to defend in numbers. However, I believe he's improved in this trait since his Benfica days where he was affectionately know as Rambo Ruben.

It seems Ruben thought Gordon was trying to listen in to a team talk & he wasn't having any of it!

His return has saved our season to be honest. He leads by example and gets the best out of others on the pitch, we're a nastier team with him out there as well which I don't mind. Most importantly we don't concede goals, 4 clean sheets in a row now!

The way he was revving up the side in the huddle before kick off on Tuesday, he certainly acts like the captain.

Exactly this, so whether officially the captain or not he takes the initiative and the team benefits from him being there.

Good to see him back to his authoritative best .
