Seem to recall him being on the bench for Liverpool/united games in the past
On the bench once against united in PL games. Pep said he was only coming back from injury and didn't want to risk him.

Couldn't track down Dias vs Liverpool other than he had played every league match up till this season.

He definitely isn't up to his previous years standard and hopefully the newer recruits will help him, Stones, Ake and Akanji back to their previous level.

Being a CB in this City team must be a nightmare. We’ve got Bravo back in net and Dumb and Dumber in the full back positions.

Injuries aside, he is having an awful season in my opinion.
He’s been getting carried by Stones, Ake and Akanji since that injury he picked up a couple seasons ago. Only thing going for him is he’s been “relatively” fit but that’s compared to Stones and Ake.

Poor. His treacle boots are getting heavier, he's too busy trying to direct others and not concentrating on his own job. Letting the ball bounce in areas you cannot let that happen is basic shit and how many times is he going to hit a under/over hit diag? He's awful at them so why is it always him doing it? If you can't play them, don't try just keep the ball moving. Inclined to give him a bit of leeway as it's very possible he's bot fully fit if this season is anything to go by.

I get the impression his individual game suffers when he has to pick up more captaincy responsibilities.

It's hard because we have so few vocal leaders in the squad. We do need him organising things. But we also need him at his defensive best.
