Rúben has been very good in the three games so far this season.

At his best, Father is among the finest centre-backs in the world, never mind the Premier League.

Not being too critical on this one instance but he does have this tendency to score own goals, apparently he has got 10 in his career already. If true, that's not just him being unfortunate when you get that many. He slid in when he didn't really need to yesterday, could have let it go, nobody was behind him, the striker had held his run waiting for the cut back and he had cover behind him that were in position to deal with any back post danger. A bit better situational awareness probably prevents the goal.
Definitely not classing it as an error just something for him to work on.

Had a good game overall though, snuffed out a potential fuck up from gvardiol and kept the ball moving which the defenders dont always do well enough. Should probably have scored himself in the right end too.

Had a good start to the season, seems back to being at it after last season where he was probably our poorest centre back.
