Well we had 26 shots so the assists were there the finishing not so much.

A tactical shambles. No plan B to replace a weary and predictable plan A.

Possession and shots statistics mean absolutely f*ck all if you don't do anything with it.

Southampton set out to nullify our system and did so very effectively. It's all part of the game and I have no issue with it, unlike Dias who went on TV like a spoilt brat who didn't get his way.

Yes but come on, his first duty is to the club and us fans. I worried about him when I saw him dating these glamorous women that his eye might be off the ball. I don’t know why he couldn’t just spend his evenings in alone, a bit of Netflix, tin of tomato soup and possibly a packet if Rolos for a treat.
Anyway, am confident Dias, our leader at the back will put images of quite nice bosoms to one side and boss the game tomorrow.
That said, no idea what might happen with the enormous tit with the whistle. Come on City

Battered them and still had to rely on shit Southampton finishing to get a point.
We have a game in hand, win are next three games and all is good? No its shown how poor our recruitment has been and the dance we do over Pep's contract.

Peps contract means our superstar striker on 500k a week can't finish in a brothel, that makes sense. Good response.

It's important to know that the manager is going to be around for a few years if you have a choice of teams to join.
The dance is when will he quit and who replaces him.
We have a rebuild in progress and his tenure is vital to that process.
As for Haaland, Pep selected the team, as many have already written the selection was poor.

We will already know who our next coach will be and it will be one of the coaches at the World Cup most likely nagelsman .
 
Fair weather player. Stones, Ake and Laporte are a level above him. Unfortunate that Stones and Ake can’t be relied on anymore either.
 
He and Akanji are useless in the air, he is also not great on the ball or particularly quick. Don't know why Khushanov was excluded from the team
 
Wouldn’t be adverse to having next season as a make or break one, personally.

If he’s not getting bullied by defenders and letting them hold it up then he’s getting bullied in the air instead.

Then if any of those two aren’t happening then he’s hammering passes at wingers meaning they can’t get on the front foot immediately. Then if he’s not doing that then he’s passing it to their weaker foot first.

Then if he’s not doing that he’s crossing aimless, looped balls into the area with no accuracy. And even if they were accurate, they’re into an area whereby it’s impossible to generate any power on the actual header.

Then if he’s not doing that, he’s panicking at the back when we’re trying to play out.

He’s been poor all season. And wasn’t the best last season either.

There’s better out there IMO and not just based on a knee-jerk reaction to recent performances, but based on long-term contribution and injury record.

His strength was apparently his mentality. But his spoiled brat comments after Southampton last week make a mockery of that for me. Need a captain/leader to take a look at yourself when it’s gone wrong rather than blaming elsewhere.

Needs to rediscover his form. And quick.

Hasn’t been the same since that injury from a couple seasons back. Stones and Ake take so much pressure off him and he’s got to get his shit together because those two are either on the way out or going to be rotation players next season.

He’s not been at the level for at least a couple seasons
 
How many good seasons has he really had ?

Certainly not this one. He talks a good fight and looks mean and determined in the silly pre match huddles (which are purely for show) and then goes out and gets bullied by average centre forwards.

His tendency when fouled to roll around on the floor like a big girl reveals a flaw in his character which manifests itself in being bullied by physical centre forwards. Get up, man up, get your own back.

He’s slow and not particularly good on the ball so why’s he even at City. Time to get rid. We have better options.
