3 | Ruben Dias - 2025/26

It's my opinion. I don't think he's a particularly confident player, and his form has been erratic for a few years. He'll have some good games but he isn't captain material, and I certainly wouldn't have him as a first choice in my team.

As I said... that's my opinion. Your opinion seems to be based entirely on one game in which you thought he was MOM, and then you say I'm 'digging a hole'. You're living in blue tinted glasses.
I think he’s a better player than you're giving him credit for, but I'm +1 on the captain material point.

Poor passing v Napoli. A good few astray plus his usual dithering that slows our attack.

Imo he should just do the simple passes and let others try the decisive passing in midfield.

Nothing wrong with playing to your strengths and weaknesses.

Hopefully he'll improve on that over more matches but I'd doubt it.

Being saying this! He shouldn’t try that centre pass when it’s so congestive he should pass it left or right wide after one touch it ain’t hard, yep he is the only player who dwells on the ball way to long and when that happens his next pass is usually the wrong one! we know what he is good at!

I think Ruben and Joško are both suffering from the “shiny new object” syndrome we have with Khusanov. Not to take away from Khusa’s accomplishments, because he’s been great. But I don’t think the contributions of the other two have been as inconsequential as many seem to indicate. They’re all different players and at different points in their career, but I think they’ve all had a solid two games. I’d like us to have a more consistent back line this year and I’m hoping this moves us toward that.

Without Khusanov closing his right side and reassuring him, he becomes feverish again.

Played really well today.looks like his brainfarts have been passed on to gvaridol though.

Big improvement on recent form. Made some really good tackles. Still think he is just too easy to run off the shoulder of him though.
