Not his best performance but it's great for us that he's playing as the main creative outlet in a high pressure environment - at just 18 years old.

He'll learn a lot and hopefully pack on some lean muscle like Phil.

CE came off the bench today in France for the Arg U23s in an Olympics prep friendly and scored a goal in a 5-0 win. The opponents were some free agent French players.

Julian and CE warm up together Friday - Arg u23s lost to Guinea 1-0 in an Oly prep match. Both came off the bench.

CE due back to River Tuesday supposedly. Interesting times could be in store for him. He was starting when he left River and his place was taken by 16 yo Franco Mastantuono in the attack. Masta looked really good. River gets cold hard cash from City every time they play him, so conventional wisdom sez Mastan would be the one to suffer a loss of mins when CE returns. He would in the River of the past anyway ... but things have changed - Demu is out, Gallardo is back as mgr after 14 pts in 9 league matches. The smart thing to do is to play them together, but then you've got vets benched for a coupla kids. Will be interesting to see what Gallardo does with his two shiny young talents.

Eche is so good.

I hope we use the good relationship we have with River Plate to get our hands on Franco Mastantuono. 16 year old is playing in the game as well. Next big thing.
