Well Girona is only possible starting January but also I think that those South American players should stay in England to learn the language and get used to the weather.
maybe he stays but gut feeling is loan so far.

Do wonder if those that think he will play a bigger part than expected this season is right

Just signed marmoush and Bobb is on the verge of a return. look how limited Mcatee's minutes have been so far, add two more players to that to give mcatee an even harder time getting minutes then put Echeverri behind mcatee in the pecking order. His role will be non-existent.

Has the seemingly added benefit of being someone we buy and not produce ourselves. Also the last youngster we had with such a impact on international youth level did get minutes for the senior team (Foden)

If he is press resistant and gains Pep's trust he will play

Ahead of who?

Savinho, doku, bobb, grealish, marmoush, kdb, foden, mcatee will all be ahead of him in the pecking order. Mcatee has played just 84 league minutes so far, echeverri will have 3 more players ahead of him than Mcatee had when he managed those 84 minutes. Who isn't getting minutes to result in him playing?

This guy is a huge talent. world class potential. likely would do him good to spend a season at Girona or similar place.
how many minutes this season? well not much in the first team. he may gets his debut vs some easier opponent in March.

if he had been signed by Benfica, Porto etc he spends two years there and they are asking 75-100m for him easily. but he would have had to spend that two years there to improve, play, mature, get stronger etc.

On that showing he will walk straight City’s side
Problem is... that's only showing his good moments.

I watched it and he's got a long way to go. His game is full of fantastic skill and vision, but he's also wasteful and gives the ball away a lot.

As said by @Damanino he needs time away on loan to mature and build up his strength/fitness. He'd be brilliant in Eredivisie / Ligue 1 / Primeira and possibly La Liga if someone is willing to play him every week.

I'm just being realistic. He does have an incredibly high ceiling but he's not pushing Foden, Bobb, Savinho, Marmoush, KDB, etc, out of the side this season.

Massively gifted, IMO, but like any 19-year-old he has lots of development ahead of him.
