Not at all, he's just not as good as the media says. But look at his crosses for Spurs in the match going on at Blackpool, every single one has been dangerous whether put in across the ground or in the air. Since Kolarov can't defend or attack, if we put Bale in as attacking left-back we'd be losing nothing in the defence and gaining everything going forward.
But not worth close to 50m, would not go above 25-28m for him.

that's the problem, if you want a player that you personally rate at 25-28mil, it will take a hell of a lot more than that for a team in Spurs' position to sell him.

An MR scan today (Monday) has revealed that Gareth Bale has suffered a ruptured ankle ligament.
The Wales international was forced off with the injury in the second half of our weekend fixture against Blackpool.
Following consultations with an ankle specialist, Gareth will remain in a protective boot for up to 12 days before beginning rehabilitation with the player expected to be fit for the start of pre-season.
