I will be more than happy to see him play 20 games in the league, because I am sure he will have his say in most of the matches that he will be playing in.

Gareth Bale is an excellent player; but he is seriously over -hyped. Now approaching his peak, he is no better than Petrov was at Athletico and in his first Season for us; and the Newspapers quoted price of 30M plus a 22/24M James Milner puts the actual transfer fee into Lunatic Asylum proportions.

Bale is nothing special, he had a couple of good champions league games but other than that he disappears and does nothing special in most premier league games.

Milner for Bale straight swap would be ok I suppose.

Has to be a joke! Think milner will be fighting for barrys slot next season, i rate bale but 30mil should be more that enough for him forget about getting milner, better players out there going for less such as sachez, hamsik and robben!

Don't think there's anything in it. Mancini just sang the praises of Milner and said he'll be important for us next season.


I think we haven't come close to seeing the best of Milner and we'd be crazy to sell him at this point.

Saying Bale is 'nothing special' is bollocks, maybe he isn't the best player in the league like a lot of people say but he is still very dangerous, and would be even moreso in a team with weapons like ours already.
