30 Years Later: The Kippax Revisited booklet

Mine just been delivered, have a brew ready to go, happy days.
Received mine this lunchtime thanks Noel
Read it cover to cover during some afternoon work meetings. Great read with variety of perspectives and some ace pictures and memories. Trying to roll a joint could be an experience.
Only draw back was when someone asked me “you’re quiet Gregge, what’s your view?” To which I replied “I just loved the anticipation, the camaraderie, the singing, the joy and disappointment….” and she said “ oh yes, you mean like that education conference we worked on with those Ministers from different countries arguing with each other?” I said “no I was thinking back to the Kippax “ To which she replied “that must have been before my time”

@ancoats let me, 12 year old at the time, run with his crew to city. Will never forget the first time going up the steps to sit near the white tunnel. One of the lads walked behind me underneath with his hands over my eyes, all the way on the bus he kept saying just wait until you see the pitch, just wait, so the anticipation was building before I even got in there.
So when I was met by this lush green turf and the different coloured seats in the platt lane end, I was hooked immediately.

And that was the start of my love affair with city. August 9th 1985.
