Any keeper with a shot to save ratio as poor as Ederson's would be called into question. He's simply not a good shot stopper.
In my opinion, Ederson is extremely lucky to play for City. If he was at a club where the coach was anyone other than Pep Guardiola, he'd probably be on the bench every week.

you can only save a shot when you have actually got a chance to save it, if he fucked up i can understand this thread ,however he didn't fuck up,in fact he didn't do anything wrong all game, so why are people on here blaming him for the 1 shot 1 goal ? , some people for whatever reason don't rate edi,which is fair enough, but to blame him for yesterday is wrong.There are goalkeepers with far worse defenders with far better save ratio in both PL, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga.
I'm not saying that Ederson is a terrible gk but he's also not making any important saves when we truly need them.
Some posters on here are always looking for a scapegoat…for some reason his thread always comes up after a bad result,his fault or not, now if its his fault because one shot one goal , then its his fault hes won 3 golden gloves in a row , or is that because of the defense now ?

Nowt wrong with Ortega imo, and Ederson just needs to improve on the basics.Szczesny is going to be available but there are not going to be many takers on this forum.
Ortega isn't any better to honest either. The Southampton performance has put me off giving him the starting spot. As far as Ederson improving on "basics" that is down to the two Goalkeeping coaches as well and they aren't doing a bad job.
