We have a real player here who is doing a fantastic job in an unnatural position. We need to find a place for him in the team when Ait Nouri comes back.

On the early showings from Ait Nouri, it'll be in his place for me.

I like Ait Nouri at Wolves and its impossible to take anything from his showing so far. After he went off against Spurs they targeted his side. For what its worth I though Nico had a great start at left back last season and so far has been brilliant but maybe we are missing a trick with him. He wins loads of headers and has added more height to the back 4 but can he offer even more in midfield?

I think Ait Nouri has shown some pretty decent ability as well,but he's definitely got a strong challenge.

I'm sure he can, but he's got a few ahead of in midfield, that said he spent most of the derby playing in midfield, and looked good, at the moment he's still learning about himself, and I think he's doing a very good job there.

In an ideal world Ait Nouri will pick it up, but for now I'm happy with O'Reilly playing there, and looking the part.

WTF are you on about ? If you go to his thread you won't find a post from me, I'm replying in this thread because I like how O'Reilly is performing.

When Ait Nouri is fit and playing, I'll comment in his thread, but he hasn't done enough so far for any comment other than O'Reilly is performing well in his absence.

It looked like an impact type knock, not muscle related, hopefully he'll recover quickly if it was.

If he’s playing left back I don’t think we concede that goal. I think he does the basics, plays safe and follows the run. But we’ll never know

I thought we were top, all over the pitch and to see O’Reilly and Khusanov rise to the occasion is very promising for them and hopefully Pep’s trust in younger players.

Was absolutely on top of everything today, didn't give an inch to anyone.

Really solid display till Nico Gonzales stepped on his foot. :(

If he played for Brighton, he’d be in midfield and be a 60mil target for any top side. We’ve got a gem!

Definitely a “keeper”. Solid left back an hopefully possible future central midfielder.

Practice throwins though. Pitch is approx 8500 square yards and he missed it twice

Great today. Still occasionally drawn out of position because of that midfield instinct but a great job away from home against an in form winger.
