33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

He's playing with two slow 30 something year old midfielders including one who did his ACL, he's 20, big and strong, he should give us more legs and power when we're struggling in these second halves, but looks like he's knackered like the other two, it still does my head in that we can't string a few passes together with 3 highly technical midfielders for large parts of second halves, this needs to be fixed immediately.
He had a great game, not sure you watched it.

Think you have to rewatch it because that is bollocks

To put in that performance in at Anfield at his age and inexperience is seriously impressive, his stint at left back has done wonders in developing him game, we see defensive tenacity, a willingness to put in a proper tackle and win the ball and an understanding of the importance of working just as hard going backwards as forwards. His legs in midfield is critical, covering so much ground, plugging gaps.

Infront of Tuchel too btw. Ironically, it might be a bit of a problem for England as he's England's best left back but if he is playing in midfield more Tuchel might be reluctant to play him there. His versatility cements his squad status though

Thanks for the compliments pal, once again read my next comment and don't assume I'm shitting on him.

I don't care if you're shitting on him or not, the guy runs further than anyone on the pitch, he does a ton of defending at LB, does a lot of running for Rodri, frequently is our highest pressing player. This is his first proper season as a starter and he's played more minutes than almost anyone else.

And you're surprised he's tired lol. Yeah, it's a real fucking mystery.

Once again I wasn't having a dig at him and I should've left the comment in the Pep thread and I'll delete it now, out of curiosity can you tell me what you think are my other "worst possible takes" ?
