33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

Listening to @twosips last night, Joe Shields has rated him highly from early, so not surprised they were pushing for him.

Mad what a difference a year can make, one of the first names on the team sheet now.

sounded like Chelsea were interested in him, was there any indications we were looking to sell ?

What a fucking thick wanker. This lad is absolutely top notch, I wouldn’t sell him for a hundred million!
WTF !! I hope you gave the fucker two barrels of shot, the useless twat. Some people attend matches but by fuck they don`t understand the game or are just plain stupid.
The lad has been exceptional since he made the left full back his role, but now he`s a real integral part of that midfield. He must be in with a chance of the PL Young Player of the Year Award.
OOPPPSSS Sorry BJ just realised you were responding to Stato so I hope he gave him both barrels.

The absolute MAN. Glad he’s stepped up and shone in midfield. Only going to get better too.

Not just a battler but fantastic technically and with an eye to goal. Players like that are priceless and he’s ours. And he’s blue. And Manc.

Love it.

Fancy wanting to buy Elliott Anderson when you have this lad!!!

We need Anderson because Bernardo and Kovacic will be off very soon. We also don’t know how long we have Rodri for and Nico G is not a long term solution for me simply cos of his lack of energy and pace.

Anyway Nico O’Reilly, absolutely loving that a youth product is doing so well. Imagine if he had the PR team behind him that Myles Lewis-Skelly has.

Anderson is an 8 for me not good enough on the ball to play the 6 role imo

Id love him to develop a nasty streak. No respect for reputation and just physically bully the oppo

Becoming more aggressive didnt do Rodri much harm did it. Nico has the physicality and the balls and could be a monster for us. Pep trusting him in midfield shows how much he thinks of him in terms of ability and understanding the game. So exciting to see an academy player coming of age. Hopefully we'll see 15 years or so of success with Nico OR at City

You mean like he did with, I think, Joelinton against Newcastle???

Sorta. But he would have said “put your hands on me again and watch what happens…”

Gerrard/Rooney/De Jong/Zaba

It blows my mind how level headed he is at his age. He will captain this club at some point. He’ll get 15-20 goals next year, while still playing left back for England. Build the midfield around him, he has to be the priority. Yaya levels will be reached.
