Yeah, it is. But Carson is at the tail end of his career and has had plenty of years as a #1. Being a City has presumably been a bit of light relief.

Presume Zach will get the Brighton game and Eddie will have sobered up in time for Everton as a final prep for the big one.

That rule doesn't exist anymore. Club gets given a load of medals and give them out.

Medals​

The champions are also given 40 commemorative medals made of silver, which are 2.25in (5.7cm) in diameter.

They can be distributed to the manager, players and officials as the club see fit, as long as every player who has made at least five Premier League appearances during the title-winning season gets one.

Additional medals may only be presented with the consent of the Premier League Board, and that will only be granted if more than 39 players have made at least five PL appearances during the campaign.

Plenty of medals to give to senior squad and staff.

Yeah each player who has 5 apps gets one guaranteed but our squad is pretty small so no problem for Carson.

Still can't believe he played in all honesty, not that he doesn't deserve it because by all accounts he has been great for Ederson and all the keepers are close I just didn't expect it at all!
