37 years ago today - City win the FA Youth Cup

No. I doubt he would have as if he told the truth he would have incriminated himself!
I think @Gary James asked him.
There’s absolutely no way a book on Bernard would’ve worked and I definitely wouldn’t want to have written one either. I’d want to tell the truth about everything at City but I think Bernard would’ve dodged certain stuff. I interviewed him a few times and there were things he said in taped interviews (such as breaking the safety certificate at his first ever City game as Secretary and then submitting a lower figure as the attendance to avoid the ground being closed!) that made me think ’how the Hell?’

Thanks Gary
Judging on that comment alone, we must have broken the safety certificate on a good number of times!

Seems like yesterday I was standing in the (very long) queue at Maine Road, wondering why the fuck they had only opened about two turnstiles.
Same here, a group of us actually paid into the platt lane end as the queue was much shorter, then got walked round the pitch into the Kippax. Had Utd fans spitting at us as we left and Blues spitting at us when we arrived.
