sorry about starting a rag topic but does anyone know when the 37 years without a trophy was?? i need to know to settle an argument with a deluded plastic cheers

the last trophy was won in 1976 if I remember correctly, so thats 35 years. your mate cant od maths for shit.

or do rags really go as far as looking 100 years back and mocking a club for their ancient history? cause thats pretty sad.

Anyway, to answer the OP, their longest period without a trophy was between winning the league in 1910-1911 and the FA Cup in 1947-1948.

37 years.

Ignore the world war, unless that was our fault. 37 years is 37 years, not seasons.
