4 Home Games In 10 Days

Barcelona play a league match only 48 hours before the champions league game, so not ideal preparation for them.

Good news. We have to really hope they need the points desperately.

at the moment they do, they're 1 point ahead of real and level with atleti with both Madrid clubs having arguably easier fixtures left, however their league game will probably be moved to the Friday or Saturday, its common practice in the European leagues to protect their champions league clubs.

I'm wondering how the pitch is going to hold up to all the abuse? The grounds-crew will have their work cut out for them, especially if the elements do not cooperate.

Haha. When I read that for half a second I thought "good point. A bog of a pitch might suit us against Barca".

Then I remembered its 2013 and not 2006!

This is the line up I expect for Chelsea (FA Cup) :

There's absolutely no reason why we cannot win.

I think it is a big positive that all the games are at home.
Here here. Not to sure what all the mard arses are moaning at on here. Pellegrini can keep them at Carrington for the entire 2 weeks for training and tactics.

To be honest I'm more worried about the Etihad pitch the groundsman is gonna be shitting bricks over the coming weeks and hoping we don't have snow. Considering City will train on it 4 times throughout the 2 weeks (on the day before the match) and Barcelona will get to as well as UEFA rules stipulate, then the pitch could be looking quite bad for the first time since we've moved into the stadium in 2003 by the time the Stoke game comes around.
