Touchy on this topic aren't you?Do you read posts properly? I never said he wasn't.
I highlighted how I remember on here he was being slated by Blues who had little patience with him.

Are you admitting you didn't read it properly?Touchy on this topic aren't you?
These are a laugh to read actually.I don't remember Fernandinho coming in for criticism really. By the time he scored those goals against Arsenal in December he was already pretty well liked.
Yaya is another story, though. I remember the complaints about him from the start. That thread made in December 2010/January 2011 was a pretty famous one on here for a while.
Yup!! I always say.. remember Rodri and Sane. Took them a while to get going here but once they did, they took off. Reijnders will be fine. We’ve seen flashes in the club World Cup and early season and his play in Italy is well documented. For some the EPL takes time to adjust tooStill a long way to go yet in his career at City, only been here 3 months.
Think we're comparing him to that Wolves games too often - still has plenty of time to become a really solid player for us
I’m sure Fernandinho lost his place in the run in to Javi Garcia that season. It was a bit like Zaba taking Micah Richards place in 2012. Both who lost out had good seasons, but these guys just took their chance and stayed in the team.I thought Ferna was superb his first season. Fondly remember the Arsenal 6-3 game
Javi Garcia you bastard back in re - hab :-)I’m sure Fernandinho lost his place in the run in to Javi Garcia that season. It was a bit like Zaba taking Micah Richards place in 2012. Both who lost out had good seasons, but these guys just took their chance and stayed in the team.
you'll catch a few with thisShould start in Carabao Cup and early FA Cup games.
Agreed, Fernandinho hit the ground running. Reijnders looks to have ability and athleticism but to me it looks like hes really struggling to find his place in the team. Doent look like he knows what he should be doing or how to be effective.I thought Ferna was superb his first season. Fondly remember the Arsenal 6-3 game
NopeApart from the first game of the season, did he play well in any other game ?
Just needs time to settle in, exactly.I remember Fernandinho and Rodri hardly set the world alight in their first season and questions were being asked.
Obviously the performance against Wolves has confused people led to different expectations.
I think the Wolves game probably didn't do him much good. Might have gotten ahead of himself and it's only made him frustrated. He needs a goal. He’s so frustrated, you can see it. Keeps coming close. I reckon when he finally scores and gets some confidence up we will see q different player, the one we expected
And hopefully he will. People can only comment on what they've seen from him up until now, which has been very little.Another player from a foreign league that needs time to adjust. Who knew?
