Yeah I think so, he featured mainly in that position until Mancini came in, remember he took a lot of our free kicks at one point and he had a thunderous drive that just rose and rose and usually hit the back of the first tier.
 
The second cup exit of a very mediocre season. If I remember Forest just sacked their manager and their youth team coach took over for that game.

I wondered at the time if he'd had a correct score bet or just did it to be a ****.

I was moved out of my 117 seat for this game and ended up in 121? rIght next to the Forrest fans. Not a good day to be blue.
 
I remember fernandes trying to gee up the crowd at a corner by waving his arms. The fact we were getting beat by forest at home and he was having one of the most spineless, pathetic performances I've ever witnessed meant he didn't exactly go up in my estimations.
In fact I'm not sure I've ever been as angry at a city player.
