As I understand it only requested change to Corinthians bid accepted by Man City is minor & doesn't relate to value of deal. On we go.

its been accepted since yday, obv just needed to be ironed out

but why do Corinthians put that message earlier today on their OS if it only has to be ironed out, surely they could have kept doing that behind closed doors instead of going out in public and letting the masses know there is no deal?

I go out to try this "real life" stuff (pub), come back and its more complecated than when i left.

Would i not be far of the mark if i just stated "get fucked kia you twat" ?

Mancini has played a blinder here.

He dropped the bombshell on the possible swap with Inter & Eto'o when Tevez was keeping up the pretence of wanting to stay, forcing Tevez to go public on wanting away.

Kia then touts around the Corinthians 'bid'. It's got his slime all over it. Corinthians cn't make their mind up whether they've actually bid or not, but seem able to comment on a supposed bid from Juve - which no-one else seems to know about.

Roberto then says, yes, we've agreed to sell him to Corinthians. Brilliant! Kia's got nowhere to go with this sham of a bid.
It forces Kia into a corner, & also forces the hand of other European parties (Malaga, Inter, Real?)

He's a media genius!
I'm sorry I think the truth lies somewhere between (not genius, perhaps "plotter") . IMO he does release some stories to stir things up, (like the Tevez to Inter swap). However he cant know the full consequences of his actions. He tries to stir things up to get things moving.
IMO the latest Nasri/Wenger comments were due to his less than fluent English that gets distorted by the British press. Personally I would like more of our business carried out less in the public eye, since most of the press try and twist any stories against us. I like Mancini and I want him to succeed but IMO he should also be more guarded with his public comments.

Man City have accepted Corinthians offer of €40+4m for Tevez. They do not understand why Brazilians are now stalling. #mcfc

Because the bid is not real - they don't even have the money. We called their bluff and they weren't expecting it. The saga rolls on. Please still sign Aguero though City!

Whats the point of the bluff what are they trying to achieve?

I'd imagine they wanted to fool their fans into thinking they are trying to sign the best, or fool thier competitors, or their players or their investors or sponsors or whoever.

... Like Juve have been doing for a few seasons now if you ask me.

I'd be surprised if the Tevez deal happened as I doubt Corinthians have got the money.

Their legitmacy is questionable after all didn't Sanchez say a week ago that they wouldn't increase their 'bid' and hey presto they did. Add Joorabchian into the mix and it all becomes highly dubious.

City calling their bluff imo. Hopefully Aguero will happen irrespective of Tevez.

Bloomberg said they offered us proof they can afford it. Would we even have progressed this far without knowing they have methods of paying?
