Can you forget how to play football? Like totally lose the ability? Asking for a Friend
You can, but it requires you to have been shit as a kid and then not kick a ball for the best part of 15 years.

I don't like any negative comments about any City player. They do read comments and it does affect them.
But sometimes, there are just no good comments you can think of.
I would love for him to turn things around. I would love to be proved wrong.

As i saw the substitution, i caught myself thinking NO Pep NO! I hate myself for even thinking this.
No team should be stronger playing with 10 men. But i actually think it would be a better option...

He wouldn't get in our Sunday league team, absolutely shocking cameo,
Gave the ball away three times, lost the ball on the tackle which resulted in a counter against us then just jogged back.
Waste of a squad number this guy, complete bluffer.

Its a phrase that's been used many times but, he really does look like he won a competition to get in the pitch.

I noticed at HT there was one of those run round in circles with your head against a pole then shoot at goal while being wobbly..think he must be world class at that sort of stuff.

He has just had a kid, first action back after months out and people are whinging he was slow and off the pace. Give the guy a break, he may never be the right player for us, but the negativity here is awful
True but he was like that before the kid and the injury

He was poor for us and for west ham and for Ipswich

He was an okay player for Leeds and England and hasn't even been that for years so the excuses you have given arent really much use and we are paying him a fortune.

I would quite like you as a boss though get away with anything and full pay.

Anyhow

I won't be in today got one of those 24hr bugs, heard its going around at the moment:-)

Maybe Pep and his team of coaches has seen something in Kalvin in training that makes them think he can make a contribution. Rodri’s minutes still need to be managed and Nico is a work in progress. It certainly won’t hurt to have extra cover in the middle.

I’m not holding my breath but I hope he can play his way back into reckoning.

He's not good enough for us. If it was the Kalvin from Leeds/England then the way we played against Arsenal suits him. But we're not looking to play that way week in week out.

I wish him all the best. It's not been nice to see how far he's fallen to be honest, I do feel for the lad. Hopefully we can shift him in Jan and he can revitalise his career elsewhere.
