Rico, the millennials' Edgy.
I find it sad that anyone would scapegoat a 20-year-old, let alone one who has given so much to the club.
I hope he goes on to convert his undoubted talent to being a truly top professional player.

Also, considering it's the Khusanov thread, good luck to Abdukodir, as well as Omar and Oscar, as they embark on life in a new nation, a new league, a new club, with a new culture, manager, and teammates.

The difference between Edghill and Lewis is Edghill heard the abuse towards him in the stadium, Lewis hasn't. He gets encouragement when we chant Rico, Rico. Edghill just got undeserved pelters which was far worse than Rico getting slated on Bluemoon.

Best hope he never goes near social media then because it's currently full of Rico bashing. The 'stadium' is now a global phenomenon in a way it wasn't for Edgy.

Absolute bullshit at this stage, the lack of respect for Rico is shocking.
Khusanov has the best U20 stats for a defender in Europe. Rico is nowhere near that level. Once Khusanov speaks English, he will be a regular starter for us. I don't think Rico will ever be a regular starter for us. We just signed 2 defenders, and about to sign a Kyle Walker replacement as well. Rico has been shocking this season. 80 apps for us and he is worse than he was on his debut. No strentgh or pace. He can never improve that, and he is not good enough elsewhere to make up for it.

Wonder if BM is ready for the influx of Uzbekistan fans.

I’m excited to watch him. Pure proper defender. Can perhaps replace Dias’ box defending to some extent.
