Don't agree with Stones, it has shown over all of his years here he needs someone leading him. Not the other way round.

Happy for Khusanov and hope he gets more minutes and gets even better

LOL!!

Are you serious??

The best defensive partnership has been Stones and Dias, next comes Stones and Akanji, for me. It's very rare Dias pulls out a display of confidence without Stones covering for his impetuous moments. Stones can be so, as well, he's not perfect, but those depends on who he trusts besides him. If you have really noticed when Dias has those moments without Stones the defence goes to pot.

Stones is who balances out that partnership and it was a similar outcome for the Stones-Khusanov pairing.

Just my opinion.

Reckon it's time for @Ric to introduce a 'dislike' button.

It is fair to say that you have been very negative recently.
I wouldn't call this writing any of them off, merely pointing out facts such as that they've made errors on their debuts, not being registered for the CL and getting injured. Struggling to see why people here hate the mere mention of facts so much. point taken about the marmoush one though that was unfair of me.

I have also had a ton of positives things to say about the likes of savio, stones, but it's not as interesting when the desire is to label me a moaner

Come on, they'd been with the club a matter of days. Anyway, I did say 'recently', so I was not looking to condemn you, and I hope things are okay in your world. Let's hope they all perform tonight if they're chosen to play.

But you basically were writing them off by insinuating they weren’t worth 200m or we spent 200m on not very good players but kudos for accepting that you were wrong.

And mine. Its very dull how fans say this about Stones.

That’s a bit of a nightmare how he’s ended up getting to Madrid so late, had to go via Greece (Athens) apparently due to his visa, and the club put on a private jet and entered Spain via there instead of direct from Manchester

Was around midnight local time by the time he got there, must cast a doubt on whether he starts tonight that
