Gonzo looks like he's got an edge to him.We have lacked that aggression for some time(Dias apart) would love to see a midfield version of Khusanov in the CM.
We are pinching that in our house....smiler ;-)In a year or two the smiler will be a fan favourite.
Much better on his second outing.
The header fiasco versus Chelsea was unfortunate but that sort of thing happens even to the best. Subsequently,
Abdukodi was way off his game
Early days - but the guy shows lots of promise.
I personally believe that howler was the best thing that could have happened to both him and us. It served as a wake-up call, sharpening his focus and igniting a fire within him. Instead of letting it break him, he has used it as fuel to become even more determined, with a point to prove.one absolute howler, lol.
LOL, unfair? So, because he’s more ready and more experienced, that automatically makes it unfair? That’s just how football works—players who have put in the work, gained experience, played in better leagues, against better oppositions, and developed their game will always have the edge. It’s not about fairness; it’s about who is prepared to step up when it matters. He is definitely more ready than Reis, which is unfair as he has more experience.
You completely misinterpreted what I meant by unfair and made a full blown tangent.LOL, unfair? So, because he’s more ready and more experienced, that automatically makes it unfair? If anything, his readiness is a testament to his growth, his dedication, and the work he has put in to reach this level vs Reis. Experience isn’t handed out—it’s earned. AK45 playing in a better league has given him his edge, Instead of calling it unfair, lets just say Reis will also have the opportunity against better opposition and a far superior league than the Campeonato Paulista.
I wasn’t going off on a tangent, nor was I trying to misinterpret you—I was simply having a chat. I think you might have read too much into my post. I figured the "LOL" at the start would’ve made it clear that it’s really not that deep. You completely misinterpreted what I meant by unfair and made a full blown tangent.
I wasnt using it as a knock against Khusanov.
Chill.
I think we have lacked a defender who likes to defend. Ruben is the only one, but the defence is 4 & we only had one. Now we have 2.
This is one for the old fogies like me, but I loved Michel Vonk, yes he had his limitations, but he was a proper defender. Khusanov looks looks head & shoulders a better footballer & athlete. He is going to be a star.
Ooh, Vonky, Vonky! Please please please never compare a new signing with Michel Vonk ffs!

Too many getting their cocks out based on a game v a league 1 side imo.
If he can put a stormer in v Madrid (which I think he can) let’s get excited.
Fear not, Mr Monkey. He’ll have those two pussies crying for their mums.Don't think pep can risk him getting skinned alive after his nightmare start. If he hadn't had that first 5 minutes at chelsea he can probably throw him in but because he did, he has to protect him. He cannot have that debut, a solid 45 against league 1 and then get roasted by mbappe/vinicius as his first 3 games.
He could well have a stormer against them, I'm not saying he definitely gets roasted, I just don't think pep takes that risk. After that debut he needs half a dozen uneventful performances to settle in and erase the memory of that start.Fear not, Mr Monkey. He’ll have those two pussies crying for their mums.
