We had to pay an extra few mill if he made more than 10 matches last season apparently
Was apparently some appearance clause which would mean we’d pay £5m extra to lens or something over a certain number of games last season.
I think it’s coincidence personally that he was dropped before the final game in the clause, like fuck the club cared about £5m more than winning points and qualifying for Europe.
When he gets a Manchester accent, then he will reach god status :)Zabba vibes
I think Pep might have lost faith in Nunez after the penalty handball vs brighton. Khusanov has to start against arsenal and if he does ok then he'll probably be starting for the foreseeable.I'm looking for a 2nd opinion on a Fantasy Football dilemma. I think Khusanov has done really well at rightback the last few games, but has he done enough to cement a regular place, or do you still envisage plenty of positional rotation with Nunez and Lewis?
Dias and Gvardiol were not partners up to this game. Dias and Khusanov started as the CB pairingI agree no chance would the club prioritise that 5 mill over points.
Pep saw something he didn't like from Kush in the Bournemouth FA Cup game imo, he hooked him at half time and didn't play him again all season. Dias/Gvardiol partnership didn't need breaking up and Nunes was doing OK at full back
Christ, pay them the fucking money, when did we become that skint that we would prioritize that over a player who was giving us something we needed?
Terrible.
he gets a bit lost in the attacking phase - just passes inside, doesn't break forward. He seems like he is going to end up being the first choice RB.
Has all the tools defensively and seems to have the physical attributes necessary to go forward. May not need a RB next summer if he continues to play like this.
He seemed to be driving in crosses hard and low against Napoli. Looks like something being worked on.he gets a bit lost in the attacking phase - just passes inside, doesn't break forward.
Walker's inability to cross a ball is the stuff of legend ;-)He seemed to be driving in crosses hard and low against Napoli. Looks like something being worked on.
Walker wasn't anything special in the attacking phase.
Yet here he is again, back from the cold, giving us something that we needed. His last half dozen games had just two wins, and in one of those he'd been taken off at half time when we were losing.
After that we went unbeaten till the FA Cup final with 8 wins and 2 draws.
Obviously not simply down to him, but I can't understand the argument that it was a mistake to give him a break.
Certainly today there is work to be done, but I think the talent and potential are there, and he certainly is better than anyone else we have.he gets a bit lost in the attacking phase - just passes inside, doesn't break forward.
But the experts said he Was shiteChrist, pay them the fucking money, when did we become that skint that we would prioritize that over a player who was giving us something we needed?

Yeah, panned him for his first 6 minutes v Chelsea and then they ignored the rest of the game of him playing well and then repeated the narrative during the commentary the next few games, weird stuff. But the experts said he Was shite
I guess because they'd preferred him to sign for NewcastleYeah, panned him for his first 6 minutes v Chelsea and then they ignored the rest of the game of him playing well and then repeated the narrative during the commentary the next few games, weird stuff.
Also pretended that he didn't have that Junior in his pocket for most of the game v RM
Because he isn't a right back. He's effectively playing right sided centre half. In that respect, he isn't too different from Kyle.he gets a bit lost in the attacking phase - just passes inside, doesn't break forward.
