45 | Abdukodir Khusanov - 2025/26

Does seem to pick up niggles that force him out. Hopefully just an impact thing and nothing serious. Had a good first half, Nunes was better second half.

21 minutes in they played a through ball and I thought they might be in but then I saw khusanov and knew it would be taken care of l, which is it was. Just a quality defender and his attributes are absolutely vital for this team. Fingers crossed on the injury

He made up yards on Gykores then. It was sublime defending, prime Walker. Felt sure Neville would highlight it.
I think after his slip on his debut, everyone just assumes he’s shit. He’s an outstanding defender. Media will be slow to catch on, but you can already see forwards are wary of him.
There was another instance where he made up a good 10 yards on Trossard.

three broken bones in his foot according to one poster on here

Where the fuck has that been said?! That would be fucking terrible if true. Really hope it's a shit rumour.

O'Reilly going off injured on the other side is also a worry, just as we had found a rock solid back four.

Per the Guardian player ratings...he was our joint lowest rated player. And was "taken off". Honestly, so many people making a living from writing about football are morons.....or scousers.

Abdukodir Khusanov: Looked shaky whenever Calafiori ran at him, and was taken off at half-time. 6
In all seriousness, why would you give that shit even a second of your time?

They talk about him on ESPN like he’s a pub player - I’m convinced they’ve either not watched him, not paid attention and/or just basing his quality on the first 5 minutes of the Chelsea game 8(eight!) months ago!

I think it was also 2vs1 and he made light work of it . The media did us a favour when they keep replaying that slip . He is solid , brave and quick and a future legend.

I know they’re shit, but I still read them. I’m fairly certain Manchester Evening News wrote their ratings before the final goal and then just changed Joskos (he had the lowest there) rating. The rest of the defense and Donna were all written like we hadn’t conceded.
