I keep reading this but how do we really know if he is ready to step into this team without seeing him get substantial minutes under his belt, I fully understand that Pep's priority is the success on the field not giving Foden minutes but why not bring him on for the last 10 minutes rather than the last 3.

Like having your first child, there’s rarely an “ideal time”, so I hope we aren’t basing his playing time on that criteria.

Pep isn't here for Phil or anything on the long, long term in terms of City. Not fun to say it, but I think it'll be on the next manager for Phil to make the jump we all want.
