Yes I was actually as we created enough chances to easily win the game
Great. How about one of the midfield players actually scoring? You know, actually affecting the game in a dramatic manner.
And the same against utd-wouldnt it be great if one of our midfield players could score goals, not afraid to shoot, could take a penalty, arrive late in the box unmarked and score.
22 pts behind the leaders .i wonder why.?

Lol

Starting in pre-season,he can make it his spot,it will be open and he can fight for it like most of the others have too, sergio deserves to play every game but he doesn't
Phil has started every pre season for the last 3 summers.as a 16 year old he made pogba look stupid in front of 80k fans in America
Charity sheild games,...its been Foden every time, advancing from deep midfield to slip sergio in v Chelsea, making Jorghino the multi million pound buy look pedestrian..last summer, he shows his coolness, slotting away a penalty in front of the liverpool end ,at wembley,in a match which was nothing like a friendly.

Those marauding runs from deep midfield have become a trademark for the lad,be it Newport away on a quagmire of a pitch(91% pass accuracy)wembley stadium in the charity sheild way back against Chelsea.or for young england last summer when he scored the goal of the tournament..advancing from deep centre midfield to dribble past several players and score..and was promptly dropped next match......scratches head..

This Footballer is being held back.
Some team ,somewhere, should be benefitting from his skills on a weekly basis.., any true lover of the game would want to see him perform.
All the arguments for not selecting him at City are fading away, one by one.He should be starting every domestic game for Manchester City in central midfield from now until the end of the season.what is there to lose?
Its no good concentrating on legends last seasons,....just say the legend decides he wants another 12 months because he still feels fit?.

Fodens career path should not be decided by another players contract. He is good enough ,in my opinion, to be judged on his own merits.
The club have just completed 2 games of football where we have failed to score a goal despite dominating for large parts of both games..
If the time isnt right now to give Foden a run in the team,at centre mid.when will it be?
That young england tournament last summer has helped james maddison(decent player, but not a patch on Foden) establish himself in the league, his team are just behind us in the league. He is now been spoken about in terms of either him or Grealish as Englands playmaker.in midfield for the full national side.
Now...whatever anybody thinks about Foden not getting in Citys team........do you not think that our player is a class above ,and if he had been playing regularly for another team would be challenging the others for that particular role in the team..?
As i say,his careers been held back.

Im not digging you out at all Karen. Just reminding you what you said. However, it would appear that even you are running out of excuses as to why he isnt playing.
Take your pick, guys:

- Just a spotty, unassertive 7-stone kid from Stockport.
- Pep knows best. WTF does anyone on here know?
- He’s learning a lot by watching from the bench.
- Already played more games than (insert name of someone famous) did at that age.
- Which world class player, currently on red hot form, are you going to drop?
- He’ll burn out if averaging more than 3 minutes a week.
- We’re at a critical stage of: (a) trying to catch the dippers, (b) finishing in top 4, or (c) preparing for Madrid.
- The lad’s not complaining. Keeps telling Pep he loves it here.
- Didn’t cost £70m, hence bottom of the food chain.
- Must be patient. He’s taking over from Merlin next season and will make 66 appearances.

If he doesn't play against West Ham, then I have lost faith in Pep to develop youth.

This is his 4th year, the only young players he developed are the ones we bought for him, and who weren't really that young (atleast 20 for Jesus and basically proven in Brazil).

How many more times,i posted a couple of months ago it's his time,it's not my fault if you can't appreciate reasons behind decisions
You are right, I can't understand why Pep cant pick the best young player Pep he has seen ahead of players woefully out of form, when we have very little to play for or lose in the league. I just can't appreciate Pep' s decision on this. You on one hand can understand, yet on the other clearly you don't as you also think he should have been playing a couple of months ago? Not following your logic really.
