According to kev himself he said last season that phil has more mins than he did at his age, phil is part of a huge club, champions of the prem and not a 2nd division team or wherever kev was,you can't make any comparison,it has also been shown phil has more mins than any of the class of 92 at his age

It's not enough but he is trying to get into a team ahead of world class players dripping in silverware

What Kev said means nothing because we have the numbers and Foden at 19 isn't playing close to the number of minutes that Kevin is. Foden is not a huge part of our club at present. Sure, he could be if we had a manager that was willing to give him an actual chance. Currently, Pep is as concerned with giving Foden gametime as he is giving Bravo who's played more minutes this season.

Whether the side is doing well or poorly doesn't change Pep's reluctance to play him. We have world class players, sure but many are out of form but that doesn't change anything. And it's got to a point where not playing him is to the detriment of our team. When we're crying out for some energy, endeavour and potency from our midfield, Foden is sitting on the bench.

pep not trusting him is up for debate although it might be phil has not shown enough in training to get in ahead of the others, only pep knows that

That is essentially the same thing. The point is if he isn't playing enough which I think we all agree on. He has no chance of replacing Dave in four months time and he might as well go on loan.

This is the issue, last season you could understand why he didn't get more minutes unless the game was over as we were out of this world. But this season it's very different.

I don't disagree he should be playing if only to shake things up but we as fans are not at training,we only see the team on match days, pep has said he is too polite to him and he wants him to be more aggressive or a similar word, when he does interviews with dave like he did last week he blushes and calls dave his idol and he doesn't want him to leave,he is being too respectful,i don't see him saying move aside it's my turn,i think things will change when dave has gone and he'll push harder to take that space

Yes we do watch him on match days and that's where we judge all players and Foden was unbelievable in the CL. And he isn't being given a chance. I'd be more patient if Pep had credit in the bank when it came to youth development but he hasn't. There's been no tangible proof that he is a manager that looks to promote youth and give them a chance when they deserve it. In Foden's case it's long been deserved.
