I wonder if the injury he got before Euro final affects this. Rumor says it is an ankle injury.Still amazing but I think a year ago he was better than he is now. He’s certainly not as deadly in front of goal lately. Seems to drag every shot wide that previously was getting tucked in the corner. Hopefully it’s just a phase.

1 goal and 0 assists vs the top 8 this season(Ferran Torres 2 goals and 1 assist). With the cf spot taken next year and with Grealish starting to find his groove he needs to improve else he'll start finding himself on the bench

He will always get a pass for being a blue who has come through the youth team but his recents performances have been on par with Raz and yet Raz gets slatted by some on here.
Unfortunately the sky sports / fifa generation only think players are playing well based on assists and goals. Phil and Raz add so much energy to our press and there movement creates the space for other players. Could they both score a few more - yes it’s one negative in a would world full of positives.

Foden doesn’t miss open nets time and time again. Sometimes after watching Sterling I wonder if the club have been duped and it’s like when Southampton got done by that guy pretending to be George Weah’s nephew.He will always get a pass for being a blue who has come through the youth team but his recents performances have been on par with Raz and yet Raz gets slatted by some on here.

And this is a perfect example of the brainless idiots that view our clue sometimes…. And also a perfect example that we wear blue tinted glasses viewing player who come through the youth team… 141 goals or assists since he joined and you liken him to that. Take the time to sit and watch his work rate and how he opens up so much space on the pitch, as does Foden. Sterling has been a key part of the success of our club and you liken him to a tin pot club being scammed by an agent.

No but as it was you that brought it up… thought you surely must know or do you just throw baseless bollocks around?
I think he and grealish need to play attacking midfield next season imo. They both would thrive with speed options up front to pass to.
He's been a little found out at LW, and doesn't quite have the pace to make up for it like Sterling. Sane same thing, left footer on the left everyone knew how he played but couldn't catch him with his speed. We can't do that with Foden, how many through balls have we sent him through on compared to Sterling this season? The team knows he won't make it, he's got okay pace, but not the speed we need. Nor does Grealish.
Unless we start playing more with wide attacking fullbacks where our wingers have more freedom to come inside, which Pep has done a but to be fair.
