I wonder if it's as simple as Rashford's case of oversleeping over a team meeting. Pep obviously did not make the issues public unlike Ten Hag.

He called Philips fat so I don't think he'd shy away from calling out someone for over sleeping.

Needs to be playing as often as possible,and preferably in his favoured position.

Honestly I'm puzzled he hasn't yet been given a fair shot in centre midfield, like try him there 2 or 3 games.

Fair that, but I do think if he truly offended Pep, he wouldn't even make the bench.

Don't understand the reasoning for him never playing in the middle, KDB can't play every game so who will he play there instead?

Personally think he’s being used sparingly as he’s got a huge January.
He, Bernardo & Walker will likely have to play every single minute.

Fell off a cliff? - that’s a huge exaggeration. He was playing brilliant then gradually stopped getting picked. He still always contributes.

Fell off a cliff suggests he’s been terrible, which he hasn’t. He was good for England aswell
