They were all bad tonight , but look at Phil's last few games , and apart from Chelsea on Sunday were i praised him highly in this player thread , he has been miles away from his true form

He’s going to be, he’s a young player that’s been shunted all over the pitch to often accommodate far inferior players..
He’s not building up consistency.

They all are.

I think only Stones and Rodri have been good in any sort of consistency.

We are miles off it as a team.
Mahrez looks on it too, but youre right we have sooo many players off colour. I'd still play Foden ahead of Grealish for the Derby cos even in his poor from he still gets more balls in the area.

If tonight is a true peek at how he’ll fair, through the middle, in years to come, I think some blues will be in for a real shock. He’s certainly not on Messi’s trajectory anymore, didn’t show any inkling of being able to lift the players around him and drag us though.

Granted it’s tough when the rest of the team play like that, but I hoped to see him dictating. Let’s hope it’s a funk he can get himself out of.

How can Foden ever succeed when shite like that is posted.

This isn’t a dig at you but Foden has never been on ‘Messi’s trajectory’. Messi is a one off, all time great.

Foden is good midfielder with the potential to be a top midfielder. He’s not a kid anymore and has failed to nail a starting role for club and country.

I wonder what Messi was doing at 22 years old.

I wasn’t necessarily suggesting he ever was but that’s certainly the feeling reading the stuff on here in in the media. Coupled with Pep saying he’s the most talented teenager he’s ever coached, you can understand why people get their hopes up.

I almost totally agree with you, though I think with elite mentality he’d still be flying right now. He still could be.

Yeah forgot about Mahrez.

I would n’all, Grealish is too predictable.

That was just biased delusion from anyone who thought it.

Messi is arguably the greatest football player of all time. Foden was never on that trajectory.
