Seems to be a lot fitter than in previous campaigns, whether a result of starting more regularly or a real desire to be in top shape, it's paying off. If he's one of the fittest on the pitch then there's no stopping him as his talent and technical ability on the ball coupled with that will see him dominate plenty of games for us. It could also just be a more disciplined approach to his play - not sprinting for everything trying to prove himself, choosing his moments in a David Silva style and retaining energy for when he needs it.

He looks much fitter and capable for holding off defenders on longer runs. He's been turning into a proper top 1% player, I just worry he started receiving 'Hazard treatment' on a regular basis. He was smashed twice against Bou without even given a foul by the ref.

Imagine when Southgate doesn’t pick Foden in the summer to start.

But he will. All the papers (who always know what Southgate is going to do) are pretty convinced he’s going for Foden-Kane-Saka front 3, Bellingham behind and Rice in midfield with a midfield partner who is the only pick still up in the air. Trippier-Maguire-Stones-Walker will be the back 4 and Pickford in goal.
