He'd do it better if he could lose the defensive midfielder. Static off the ball. One of only a couple of players looking to make things happen today...better from him

Up with Iniesta, De Bruyne has been one of the best midfielders in world football since Zidane. I can’t see Foden being that level of player. There’s no disgrace in that, just can’t see it.I don’t know what the fuck has happened to him since the end of last season but he has got hell of a lot to learn if he ever wants to get anywhere near kevs standards
Where should he play ?He's so much better than what hes showing right now. Its like hes hiding too much. But imo another player who suffers due to poor utilization. His off ball game and shooting is worldclass but hes not being found in those positions by his teammates. Just out of sync with everyone. That simply has to be on the coach. We know hes quality.
The tactical problem with Foden is more than just which position do you stick him on the pitch. You need him to have synergy with other players, read each other and anticipate moves, just fit naturally with a playing style and know his role among the others. IMO hes best in the centre but it seems like all the schemes that the Pep has worked on for years with some of these players have suddenly been forgotten and everyone's on an island.Where should he play ?
How do we address that ?The tactical problem with Foden is more than just which position do you stick him on the pitch. The two ways have been mentioned already. Either sack Pep and start from scratch tactically, or surround him with players with whom he can build chemistry more easily and fit his game better. How do we address that ?
Sounds easy! Why didn’t anyone think of that ?The two ways have been mentioned already. Either sack Pep and start from scratch tactically, or surround him with players with whom he can build chemistry more easily and fit his game better.
Doesn't sound easy to me but okSounds easy! Why didn’t anyone think of that ?
