It was only an equalizer, was never gonna go overboard esp as he knew it may have been close for offside.

Next season is massive for him. We showed faith in giving him a contract but he needs to deliver. If not, that'll be 3 season in a row where he's been well under par in terms of his capabilities. I think it'll be time for everyone to realise there is going to be no resurgence if that was to happen.

I reckon he's going to do well. Summer off, fresh start with a new manager.

Hopefully the new manager shows faith in him as a starter. I don't think Phil is a naturally confident player. I think he needs a manager to put the belief into him by selecting him. I don't think he's the kind of lad that's going to get fired up and morivated at the prospect of proving them wrong.

Superb first touch and then finish for the "offside" goal... Was running at defenders with the ball too, genuinely been years since he's done that.. created most chances too.
