That's brilliant too. So sad how the actor playing the teacher died. He died of abestos poisoning as he used to work with his father on roofs before he got into acting.JAWS,

Yeah, hard to disagree, it really is absolutely superb. The script, the pace (a mix of the frenetic, the eerily-slow), the pathos, the bathos, the achingly-funny. Shaw makes the film but he’s ably abetted by all and sundry. “Farewell and adieu....”Best ever for me
Do you recall where the interval was in the film? I’d be interested to know, but googling ‘Jaws… Interval’ just brings up a ton of hits about the famous music motif, as it happens to be a perfect of example the musical interval. For me, the best film ever made. When I first watched it in the cinema there was an interval and it’s the only time I’ve ever heard a cinema audience burst into spontaneous applause.
I reckon I’ve watched it at least 40 times and I can happily watch it again and again. It’s perfect.
Radical guess here, but I'd imagine it would be at what would be a natural break halfway through the film. Maybe when Quint is in the harbour preparing to go out with Hooper and Brody?Do you recall where the interval was in the film? I honestly can’t remember. The film is sort of in Acts though so I wonder if it’s before they set out to sea?Do you recall where the interval was in the film? That would more likely be the opening scene of act 2.Radical guess here, but I'd imagine it would be at what would be a natural break halfway through the film. Maybe when Quint is in the harbour preparing to go out with Hooper and Brody?
