He's the sort who needs to play to stay fit. When he gets into the side he plays 90 minutes 2 or 3 times a week as relaibly as anything. It's when Pep starts rotating to keep people happy or to balance the left foot/right foot of the back 4 and he starts going in and out of the side when he starts picking up these niggly little strains.

Probably our best defender yesterday.He was assertive and composed and never really looked like he was struggling.
Need to get Dias back and get that partnership up and running again.

I agree, pity Pep doesn't pick Stones above Laporte as Stones plays best along side Dias, and those two are our best CB partnership IMO.

Certainly our most consistent since he had a few wobbles a couple of seasons ago. Credit to the fella, hes superb.
