Not seen him be that sloppy on the ball for many years, not entirely his own fault though, a fair few balls that went astray he had every right to expect a player to be there. It wasn't vintage from our defence as a whole but you have to credit the opposition sometimes, they pressed hard. Said something similar in the laporte thread but it applies to stones too, the guys infront didn't offer enough options which made it hard for both our centre backs today but they both handled it reasonably well all things considered despite some hairy moments.
Now please pull out of England duty before you pick up your routine international injury. No need for him to be playing in those.
