Good we have Laporte and Ake, but it's sad this guy can't get passed his injury issues....when he plays he's phenomenal

Really thought he was on the way to sorting it in 20/21, then last season was as frustrating as ever.

I wonder if the euros messed up his pre-season? I hope that was it because it gives me hope that some proper preparation will put him in good shape for this season.

Yeah because playing for the most possession dominant team in the Premier League with about £700m of midfielders and forwards in front of you is the same as playing for the fourth best team in the basketball-like Bundesliga. Stats are AIDS.
