His injuries are a concern but when on form he's still one of the best CH's in the World.
I wouldn't be getting rid anytime soon.

Tosin will want to play regularly and we can't offer him that, plus we have defenders out on loan who deserve a chance at a squad place first.

Just my opinion but Tosin is nowhere near the required standard to play for City.

I wonder if getting injured when away with England pissed Pep off, knowing full well he shouldn’t have started 2 games in such a short space of time.

It is, and isn’t. Pep implied he wanted players to put the club first before they went, wouldn’t have been difficult for Stones to say he was feeling tight.

The problem is he might not have been feeling any niggles at the time. He definitely would have said that he couldn't play if he had any niggle. Anyway we will never know its just speculation on our part.

If Pep had been annoyed with John Stones he would not have given him the huge hug he gave him at the last match JS played in.
The match before JS appeared to have the stomach bug that KDB had the week before.
So I think we are just seeing Pep's management of his players and next season (& possibly on Sunday) John Stones will be back and raring to go.









After all he must be there on Sunday so that my birthday will be complete!!! ;-)

Agreed. He's a very good player, but some way off the level required to play for us. And anyway; how many CBs do we need?

Agreed. The same back four that started at Fulham for tonight's game, provided Ake is available, would seem to be the most likely option. And if Nathan doesn't make it, Walker in.
