Akanji might get some time at right back, which would give Stones his place.
When was he last injured?

When fit and in form he is a world class CB but for me only a good DM.With Rodri injured, he may get more game time in the dm role.

If he could stay fit he would be a good replacement for Rodri as DM but we need consistency in that spot. I think he could grow into the role and maybe should have been tried there earlier. I can remember a few games he played there a few years ago and he struggled but maybe it should have been persisted with as it is not an easy role to play.When fit and in form he is a world class CB but for me only a good DM.

It’s hard to say as Pep will say niggles or not fully fit. His last listed injury was early on last season on Transfermrkt.Did he not miss the start of this season? Or was that due to only being back late because of england?

I think a lot of shite is spoken here
His talent has never been in doubt, unfortunately injuries have blighted his career as we all know. Currently he doesn't look quite right imo, hopefully that is down to lack of playing of playing time.When fit and in form he is a world class CB but for me only a good DM.
