Potentially his career at the top level is done. He cannot get fit, play himself into form and stay fit.

I don't imagine for one millisecond that John Stones is sitting there laughing. He is probably absolutely devastated that he is having to sit out our matches. He is probably contemplating what he is going to do next. But hey you have a good laugh you bobolyne, cumberworld waste of spaces!!

Instead, I think we should start asking 'what's his latest reason for being fit, and how long is he likely to be fit for?'
International tournaments usually! Somehow he manages to play 6 or 7 games in the space of a few weeks for England every other summer.
