Stones had good moments but ended the game badly, as his passing in the last 20 minutes wasn't good and he was indirectly involved in their last 2 goals: a meek header set up the attack for their 2nd and was slow to react for their 3rd. Maybe he got tired.

Let's hope he stays fit.

Correct
A more experienced player should and would have.
“There’s a ball and a man. Only one of them can go past you at any given time. Got it?!”

The good thing is if he had just pulled him back, it wouldn’t have been a yellow card, just like it wasn’t for Bellingham in the first half!

But there were 14 other players. Therefore if their votes had been distributed evenly every other player would only have got just over 19 votes!

You know I won’t give in…John Stones came second in the poll. Has now gone up to 100 votes!! ;-)
Your infatuation with John Stones is more than that of Annie Wilkes in Misery; )

Some may accuse me of trying to ingratiate myself with @Eccles Blue, but I would always lay down my cloak (Walter Raleigh style) to avoid her stepping in a puddle.

For the record, my vote for player of the match was the 101st for Sir John Stones :)
Aww thank you @jollylescott. I could have done with you on Monday when I fell and injured both legs. The right one looks as if I have dipped it in blue ink and let it drain off!! *lol*
I needed a knight in shining armour to help me up off the floor because as you get older it’s more difficult. Picture if you will an old woman crawling across the floor, at least 24 ….. inches(!) to grab the settee for leverage. It must have been a funny sight. ;-) :-)

Fantastic in that DM role. We should play him there going forward. Khusanov/Ruben/Reis/Akanji/Ake/Gvardiol can handle RB/CB/LB. We need Stones in midfield.
