He was a great player, long time since he's been fit and in great form and sadly we may never get to see either again.

There was a media report that we were going to make a contract extension offer, this has to be some sort of sick joke?
 
The answer is who would buy Stones with his current issues? Although it is £13m on the accounts he still a handy player to have around. Still need that depth. Same with Ake to another extent too

You seem to want to blow this up to be a scandalous thing to do, it's not all that uncommon, players play when not fully fit regularly, Laporte played through genuine injury in the title run in a few seasons back.

He has no choice , we have had an injury crisis for a couple of months and are down to the bare bones . It is normal for our team to want to play if they possibly can and it is not our players who play carrying injuries

Of course he has a choice. The alternative choice is to play somebody who is fit.

The very reason we've had an injury crisis that has lasted a couple of months is because pep has continuously chosen to throw whoever is available straight back in and push them until they inevitably break again.

We don't even have that many injuries, other teams have more than us, we are down to the bare bones purely because in the summer we settled on a squad whereby we can't afford to lose 2 defenders at once which is madness.

How've you worked that out?

First paragraph is obviously true. Unless you're suggesting he's being forced against his will to play certain players.

Second paragraph pep has said himself he's been playing players who aren't fully fit, those same players have picked up reoccuring injuries.

Last paragraph is proveable if you can count upto a maximum of 25 and have reading and comprehension skills above that of a toddler.

So which bit is bollocks and why?

Amazing that his fragile mind and body is ok when playing for England.
